Phil Alchin, sadly passed away at St Mary's Hospital on March 27th 2023 aged 66. He was a much loved husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle who will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all who knew him. 

There will be a vigil held for Phil at St Patrick's Church Sandown on Tuesday 2nd May at 4:30pm. He will travel from his home address in Denness Road to the church. All welcome to attend prior to the funeral taking place on Wednesday 2nd May. 

Phil's funeral will take place at 12 noon on Wednesday 3rd May at St Patrick's Catholic Church, Sandown. Family flowers only. Donations in his memory, if desired, can be made through this site to the Earl Mountbatten Hospice and Wessex Cancer Trust who provided much support to him and his family. 

The funeral will be followed by a wake taking place at Loveland Hall, Sandown, 13 Melville street PO36 8LF.

There is very limited parking at the church, parking is recommended at the Heights leisure centre, public car park, a short walk from the church and wake location.
